College Workshop Programme

3-Day Workshop on AI, Machine Learning & Cyber Security

Learn from developers who build real products. Hands-on sessions, a live security case study on software we built ourselves, an online CBT on our own platform — and an internship for the top performers.

What Students Learn

Three subjects every student needs now

Explained from the basics, with examples from apps students already use and software our team has shipped — no prior coding needed for the sessions.

Artificial Intelligence

What AI is — and isn't — and where it already works for us: face unlock, voice assistants, recommendations, chatbots and generative AI tools.

  • How AI systems make decisions
  • Generative AI and its limits
  • Where AI is taking careers

Machine Learning

How machines learn from data: supervised and unsupervised learning, training and testing, and why a model can look accurate and still be wrong.

  • The main types of ML
  • Data, features and models
  • A hands-on demo students can follow

Cyber Security

The threats students actually meet — phishing, OTP and UPI fraud, fake apps, weak passwords — and how security is built into a real product.

  • Safe habits that stop most attacks
  • Encryption and authentication, simply
  • What to do if fraud happens

Live Case Study · Day 2

Cyber security inside Deskbird

Deskbird is our own free remote-desktop app for Windows — like AnyDesk — built entirely by KeyCode Technology. Students see how security is applied in a product people use every day:

  • End-to-end encryption — keys agreed with ECDH, sessions encrypted with AES-256-GCM
  • The owner stays in control — every session needs the host's approval, shows a banner, and ends when the app is closed
  • Nothing changes in transit — transferred files are checked with SHA-256
  • No accounts to steal — a permanent ID and a one-time password, no port forwarding

Day-wise Schedule

How the 3 days run

The usual plan — we adjust the timings to your college's timetable.

Day 1

Inauguration & AI / ML 3–4 hours

  • Inauguration (30 min) — words from the Principal, HOD, faculty and the Founder of KeyCode Technology
  • Artificial Intelligence — concepts and real-world examples
  • Machine Learning — how models learn, with a hands-on demo
  • Introduction to Cyber Security — threats and safe practices
  • Q&A with the KeyCode team
Day 2

Cyber Security & CBT 1–2 hours + 30 min CBT

  • Deskbird case study — how cyber security is implemented in a real product
  • Online CBT — 30 minutes, 50 questions, on the KeyCode Technology website
  • Group presentations (optional, if the college opts in)
Day 3

Results & Awards

  • CBT results — the top 3 students announced
  • Award ceremony — certificates, internship offers, medals and trophies
  • Vote of thanks

Assessment

The CBT exam

A fair, computer-based test taken online on the KeyCode Technology website, on a platform we built and run ourselves. Students are ranked on their score, and the top 3 earn an internship.

  • Held on Day 2 of the workshop
  • 30 minutes, 50 objective questions, auto-graded
  • In the college computer lab, or in Chrome on a phone
  • A separate paper for each shift when a college tests in batches
  • Results are published by our team — then each student downloads their certificate
Question Paper50 Questions · 30 Min
Computers, AI & Cyber Security25 questions
Mathematical Reasoning25 questions
  • Locked full-screen test window
  • Leaving the test is caught and counted
  • Submits itself when time is up
  • QR code on every certificate

Rewards

Every student gains. The best get hired in.

Participation Certificate

Issued by KeyCode Technology to every student who appears in the CBT — with a number and a QR code anyone can scan to check it.

Work at KeyCode Technology on real-world projects — not dummy assignments.

  1. The company decides the internship length (45–60 days)
  2. A dedicated mentor from our development team
  3. Live projects with complete training

Group Presentation Awards

Optional. Teams present projects they have built; our team scores them.

FAQ

About the workshop

Who can attend the workshop?

Students of the host college, as decided by the college. No prior coding experience is needed for the sessions.

How is the CBT conducted?

Online on the KeyCode Technology website, on Day 2: 30 minutes, 50 questions — 25 on computers, AI and cyber security and 25 on mathematical reasoning. Each student logs in with their own ID and password.

Who gets a certificate?

Every student who appears in the CBT receives a participation certificate from KeyCode Technology. It can be downloaded online, and can be printed in advance so it is handed over at the ceremony.

How are the internship students selected?

The students who rank 1, 2 and 3 in the CBT receive an internship of 45–60 days. KeyCode Technology decides the length for each student.

What happens during the internship?
